battery strategy

Here's the idea we came up with;

Run 100 to 150 miles with the battery plugged into the VR, stop, unplug it, and run 100-150 miles with it unplugged.

If it blows up or dies, toss the fresh backup in and refigure our mileage.

Jay, I'm a little concerned that you are the mechanical and mathematical brains behind this madness..... Your dad must be a very understanding guy.
